Material Donations

How do I donate materials?

SCRAP Bin is an environmentally friendly art non-profit that relies on the donations of recyclable materials from the community.  We focus on items that can be creatively reused or upcycled, so we can’t take all donations.

A fairly extensive list of the kind of materials SCRAP Bin accepts is listed on the materials page. Start saving your reusable discards for donation to SCRAP Bin. We accept materials as space allows.

If you have a large quantity of materials, please contact us via phone or email before you come to ensure that we have adequate space and need for your donation.

Please drop off donations during our open hours only at our facility in Carrollton. Contact us to make alternative arrangements if necessary.

A tax deduction form is available.

I am moving out of the state and I have a large amount of scrap upholstery fabric samples (including leather) and other art supplies that need to go to a good home. Is there a limit on how much I can donate?
