Materials we do not accept

Due to federal, state and local regulations, storage constraints and the demographic we serve, SCRAP Bin can only accept certain goods and materials. In general, we will not accept items that a thrift store will accept such as clothing or furniture. We cannot accept the following materials:

• Used clothing except for clean t-shirts, blue jeans
• Used mattresses or bedding
• Used appliances (such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves)
• House paint
• Flammable liquids
• Construction and demolition debris
• Toxic or hazardous materials
